About the Department

The Department of Music & Theatre teaches, mentors, and equips students to think, perform, worship, and lead with creativity and conviction, to the glory of God. We offer undergraduate degrees to equip graduates for careers related to music or theatre, as well as academic minors, participation opportunities for students of all majors, and the Academy of Music community music school. We are committed to excellence in classical music and theatre preparation while also embracing newer repertoire. Each year we welcome thousands of community members to our concerts, plays, musical theatre productions, dance performances, and recitals.
