Can’t decide on a major? No problem. Create your own major that incorporates your interests and prepares you for the career you’re seeking. With Northwestern’s Christ-centered courses taught by internationally-recognized professors, your degree will be customized to meet your goals.

The interdisciplinary studies major is built from courses across different academic departments and may pull in some coursework from another institution.

Requirements

  • 48 credits in at least two academic areas
  • 30 upper-level credits in the major
  • Completion of an integrated capstone paper or project
  • At least 50 percent of major completed at Northwestern
  • Meet all core curriculum and graduation requirements of Northwestern
