January Orientation

Your first few days at Northwestern will be exciting and eventful! You will meet Christian peers who are ready to grow in their faith just like you.

Friday, January 10       
1:30-2:15pmCheck-In and Student Information & Services

If you are a resident, please arrive between 1:30 and 1:45pm (no earlier than 1:30).
If you are a commuter, please arrive between 1:45 and 2:15pm.

You will be personally guided through all of UNW's services, support, and opportunities available to you as a student. During this time, you will also obtain your Student ID, make sure your meal plan is set, etc.
Billy Graham Community Life Commons (BGCLC)
3:00-4:00pmWelcome to NorthwesternNaz Great Room
4:00-8:00pmResidents: Move in, connection, and dinner off-campus with Resident Assistant student leaders
Refer to check-in folder for directions to residence hall. Once moved in, you will meet with your RA within your hall at 5:00pm. Transportation will depart from Robertson Student Center entrance at 5:45pm for off-campus dinner and connection. Meet back at the bus at 7:15 to return to campus. 

Traditional Commuters: Connection and dinner off-campus with Commuter Assistant student leaders
Head to Youderian within Nazareth Hall for initial meeting at 4:00pm. Parents welcome to attend connection part at 4:00.  At 5:15, students will depart from BGCLC Lakeside entrance for off-campus dinner together. Meet back at the bus at 7:15 to return to campus.

On-Campus PSEO Commuters: Meeting, dinner, and connection with PSEO Assistant student leaders
Head to G115, located in the Billy Graham Community Life Commons, with your parents for the initial DE Meeting. You will be dismissed at 4:45 to grab dinner in the lobby, and head to G140 with your PA for additional student programming. Parents will grab dinner and head back to G115 for additional parent programming.
