Professor Millar is a champion for women’s health. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, active member of American Association of Pro-Life OBGYNs (AAPLOG) and experienced nurse educator with over 20 years experience working in women’s healthcare. As a full-time faculty at UNW, she loves to share a Biblical worldview and passion for life with students. In addition, she advocates for women and the unborn as a Nurse Practitioner for Alliance Women’s Clinic in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She previously served on the Board of Directors for Robbinsdale Women’s Center in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and introduced them as a new clinical partner to the UNW School of Nursing. 

Professor Millar has spent significant time outside of the United States, living in both Ireland and Puerto Rico giving her a love for global missions and healthcare. She has led multiple UNW transcultural nursing trips to Ecuador and Ireland. She also serves on the board for the international pro-life organization PassionLife, and is the Vice President of the Turning Point USA Faith chapter for Kenosha and Racine counties. She and her husband reside in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and have four children.
