Sarah Arthur

Supporting non-tradional learners is my primary role at UNW. I consider it a privilege to encourage and equip staff and students in the Dual Enrollment (PSEO and Early College), Adult Degree Completion, and Graduate School programs. I joined Northwestern following rewarding work as a Secondary School Principal and six other colleges and universities around the country. My Master’s degree in Counseling and experience in higher education including Academic Advising, Graduate School Administration, Career Services, and in Admissions at the University of Minnesota have all equipped me to serve at UNW. In addition to my professional role, I enjoy investing time writing (currently I contribute to the Parent Blog for UNW), supporting the Twin Cities arts community, and adding to my collection of travel experiences in national parks.

Advice for Students: Expect balancing school, work, and home life to feel challenging. Your response to the challenge starts with leaning into the Lord. He wants to draw you closer to Him through this experience! Acts 17:27-28 says, “He did this so that they would reach for Him and find Him, for He is very near. It is in Him that we live and breathe and have our being.”
