A shared Northwestern connection goes a long way in building trust and an Eagle Business Directory is a win for everyone. Businesses will be reviewed each summer to ensure they are active and accurate.

Mobile Devices
When viewing on your phone, the best user experience is the grid view. Businesses are sorted by industry. Scroll and select the one you’d like to see more information about. If you would like the ability to filter, sort, and search, please view the directory on your desktop.
Desktop Devices
Viewing the directory on your computer desktop unlocks the ability to filter, sort, and search records. Here are a few tips:
- Choose your view: View the directory as a gallery or grid based on your preferred style.
- Clickable: Click on a listing to see the full details.
- Search: Click the magnifying glass at the top right to search by industry, location, description, and more.
- Filter: Use a filter to segment out the listings. Click “Filter” on the top left of the gallery and choose the field(s) you’d like to filter by. For example:
- Filter by “Business Industry (primary)” and choose one or multiple options.
- Filter by “Eagle Owned” to only see businesses that are owned versus operated.
- Filter “UNW Alumni Perks” and select “is not empty” to see all businesses offering alumni incentives.
- Filter by “Business Service Area” to see if a company is local, regional, or worldwide.

Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement by University of Northwestern. Using any information contained in this directory for solicitation purposes or unauthorized private, commercial, or political mailings is prohibited. Businesses must meet initial eligibility criteria. Regarding continued eligibility, the Alumni Office reserves the right to edit or remove listings not in keeping with the mission and values of the university, as well as those listings that are no longer responsive or have outdated or inaccurate information
Join The Eagle Business Directory!
All Northwestern alumni, parents, staff, and student businesses are invited to submit information to the directory. Unlock the power of your Northwestern community by promoting your business. You must be a registered alum, parent, staff, or student to include your business in the directory and your business must meet initial eligibility criteria including:
- Being founded, owned, or operated by a Northwestern alum, spouse of an alum, parent of student/alum, staff member, or student
- Having an active website, social profile, and/or distinct business presence
- Personal alignment with the university’s mission and values
The directory is visible to the public, but only University of Northwestern community members can submit their business information. Directory submissions will be reviewed and published within 10 business days of receipt if approved. If you have not done so already, complete your complimentary business directory submission form.
