Each year the Denler Gallery hosts an exhibition of artwork made by UNW students. Any student, regardless of year or major, is allowed to enter three submissions. An outside professional is then brought in to jury the work. This year 107 works were submitted for consideration and 17 pieces were selected.
This year's exhibition features artwork by Elijah Cook, Carrena Falls, Rachel Flatten, Emily Ford, Jinelle Froese, Emily Hayton, Alayna Hess, Leah Kaefer, Sarah Kvam, Megan Moeller, Cora Nelson, Natasha Nolette, Rachel Orvis, Molly Schreyer, Hollyn Shaughnessy, Tiffany Vakula, and Elizabeth Weckert.
Join us Friday, September 15 from 5-7pm in the Denler Gallery for the opening reception of the exhibition. Food and drink will be available. There will be a printed map and essay for guests to read. Around 5:30pm, we will hear from this year's guest juror Alyssa Baguss and she will announce the first, second, and third-place pieces.
The 29th Annual Juried Student Exhibition will be on view from September 15 - October 20, 2023.
