As I worked through my coursework at UNW it was so evident that God was orchestrating the process. There were many instances where the courses coincided with what we were working through as new business owners, marketing, accounting practices, contracts, and the Business Plan! UNW not only prepared me for my current position, but I have a much broader and clearer perspective of best business practices overall.
We equip men and women as they respond to God’s call on their lives. Whether it is in business, professional and volunteer ministry, or in life, all Christians are called to represent Christ in their spheres of influence. We help students to listen carefully as they look to discover God’s design for them, as they develop the heart, knowledge and skills needed for their profession.
As an adult student, I was fearful to begin my business program. What I found out about myself is that I am smarter than I thought I was and able to do things I never thought I could. I am thankful for the staff and faculty in the College of Graduate, Online & Adult Learning at UNW, they were instrumental in my success as a student. I have grown to appreciate the value of education, personal growth through that education, and how Christ and a Christian world view in education can help you to be a better student, employee, and person.
