Why study environmental science and business at Northwestern?

You will receive practical training from faculty who are experts in their fields, both in biology and in business. In this program you have the choice of a general business track or a marketing track.

Northwestern is a lakeside campus with 30 acres of forest. Having access to this aquatic and terrestrial environment allows you to study the environment right on campus. Learning about God’s creation will be hands-on. Northwestern students work with Ramsey Conservation District to help restore the Lake Johanna shoreline. You have the opportunity to gain experience in environmental courses through the Au Sable Institute in northern Michigan. Northwestern also offers the Wildes/Stevens Environmental Science Research Program, a competitive program with a stipend.

At Northwestern, we offer small and personalized classes. Professors empower you to steward God’s creation and to protect our limited natural resources. You can grow in your faith both inside and outside of the classroom to gain a deeper appreciation for the world around you.
