Adult Student Life

There are many resources available to you as an adult learner at UNW.

An Academic Advisor is assigned to each student upon acceptance into the Adult & Graduate program. Your advisor is available to provide individual support throughout your time at UNW. Advisors work with students to create personalized academic plans, answer registration questions, and recommend campus services beneficial to your success.

Student Academic Responsibility

Students are expected to know and follow all policies, procedures, and content listed in the CGOAL Catalog. While Academic Advisors are available to assist with program planning, it is the responsibility of each student to register for required courses and meet all degree requirements. Regular communication with your Academic Advisor throughout your degree program is encouraged.

Degree Audit & Academic Plans

Academic Advisors will provide students with an introduction to the Degree Audit tool. Ongoing access to the Degree Audit tool, including tutorials, are available via myUNW.

Students can use the Degree Audit tool to see:

  • GPA
  • grades
  • courses in progress
  • progress with credits earned toward degree completion
  • remaining degree requirements

In addition, the Degree Audit tool includes an Academic Plan constructed by an Academic Advisor to preview registration selections for future semesters.
