Is UNW a good fit for you?

Mission-driven

Longing to make a more authentic connection between your faith and your work? Northwestern is a place where you are encouraged to authentically live out your faith as you work to help us fulfill our mission. Whether it’s regularly opening our meetings in prayer to seek God’s wisdom in our decision making or sharing biblical principles to integrate our faith and work, our faculty and staff authentically live out their faith and create a culture focused on mission. We take our faith very seriously, but not ourselves so much. We enjoy having fun while we work hard with excellence to fulfill our mission to students and listeners. It’s all about fulfilling our mission, focused on serving our students and listeners.

Relationships

Everything we do at Northwestern happens in the context of relationships. We highly value relationships and intentionally create a culture focused on cultivating authentic fun, faith-filled relationships. Employees at Northwestern tend to have close, life-long friendships with their colleagues.

Growth and development

Our mission is all about growing and developing students and listeners to be God-honoring leaders. In order for this to happen, our employees need to be growing and developing themselves. We are very intentional with making sure our employees are growing and developing to be competent in their own professions as well as growing in their relationships with Christ and each other.

Service

We work together, in a community of grace, serving each other as we serve our students and listeners.

Work/life balance

We want to foster personal and organizational health, starting with those of our own employees. We want to make sure you have a life outside of work with family and friends. We believe your job should be a part of your life, not your entire life.

If you can answer in the affirmative regarding these aspects of our workplace culture, Northwestern may be a great fit for you to work in. Go to our job openings page to see if your background fits our needs.
