Mission Statement

University of Northwestern – St. Paul exists to provide Christ-centered higher education equipping students to grow intellectually and spiritually, to serve effectively in their professions, and to give God-honoring leadership in the home, church, community and world.

Vision Statement

By 2030, Northwestern will be a nationally recognized voice that shapes society and speaks into contemporary culture, influences how people think, and equips Christian leaders for lives of purpose, service, and civic engagement through the transforming power and platform of Christian higher education and Christian media. 

We are UNWavering.

UNWavering describes our institutional identity: who we are, who people expect us to be, and who we will be. In a world and culture that’s shifting, UNWavering speaks to the unshakeable anchor, foundation, and solid rock that we have: while the world wavers, we take refuge in an UNWavering God. It holds us accountable to our mission and vision and our biblical and theological foundation. We have made a bold commitment because UNWavering begins and ends with God, not us. Our claim is in his UNWavering grace for his people. That is why, We are UNWavering.
