How does the Early College on-campus selection process work?

The on-campus PSEO program is very competitive. We are seeking well-rounded individuals who will be a great fit for the classroom and for the Northwestern community. We will interview top candidates (with GPA of 3.3 or higher and an ACT/PLAN score of at least 22, Aspire score of at least 434, or SAT/PSAT score of at least 1090) to better determine who to accept. You must also maintain a 3.0 GPA at Northwestern for the on-campus program.

Do I commute or live on-campus?

On-campus Early College students are now eligible to live in dorms at Northwestern. While many students in the on-campus Early College program choose to commute, seniors in high school who are 17 years old at the beginning of courses may live in dorms alongside traditional Northwestern students.

How many credits may I take in a semester as an Early College on-campus student?

You will need to take a minimum of 6 credits per semester to be involved in the on-campus Early College program and a maximum of 18 total credits per semester (which may also include a mixture of online PSEO and/or Early College credits).
