Soprano Carol Eikum maintains an active performance career giving solo recitals and as a soloist with numerous musical organizations in the upper Midwest. Highlights include singing as soprano soloist for the Fauré Requiem with the Kiev Orchestra’s tour of the Ukraine.

Eikum is a sought-after vocal clinician, pedagogue, and consultant, and in 2001 was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the Schubert Club. Her students regularly win top awards in vocal competitions and many continue to graduate programs at some of the most prestigious colleges and conservatories in the country.

She has coached with such notable musicians as Margo Garrett, Martin Katz, Julianne Baird, and Sanford Sylvan. Her vocal teachers include Merle Moore, Polyanne Baxter, Dr. Clifton Ware, and the late Esther Andreas.
