Claire Baum graduated from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul in 2022 with bachelor’s degrees in music and nursing, studying cello with Diane Tremaine and Dr. Ben Osterhouse. She also participated in chamber ensembles, served as principal cellist for the UNW Orchestra, and worked as a student piano accompanist for vocal students. Beginning in 2020, Claire started teaching cello lessons through the Academy of Music. Currently, she regularly plays cello for services at her church, in addition to serving as the piano accompanist for the Roseville Covenant Church choir. Claire is passionate about helping students learn and grow both musically and personally, and ultimately seeks to use private lessons as opportunities to glory God through teaching, playing, and learning with her students.
