Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Doug and his wife and have the served the Kingdom in higher education (professor) and the local church (lead pastor) in Alaska, Washington, Arizona, and Minnesota. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. They love the four seasons; where they can hike, bike, ski, and paddle. Doug loves all things Swedish – having lived there for a year during seminary. Most of all Doug loves interacting with the global church – experiencing the amazing diversity, vitality, growth, and faithfulness of the body of Christ.
