Kimberly Witt serves as an adjunct professor in both the English department and in the School of Education. In this role she creates a community of writers and learners as well as supervises and coaches future secondary English teachers.

Prior to coming to UNW, Kimberly taught high school English at Okoboji High School in Milford, Iowa, where she also taught dual-enrollment College Composition. As a high school teacher, she loved building a classroom community and watching her students make connections to powerful literature.

Outside of her role at UNW, Kimberly enjoys writing, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. Through the adoption of their two teenage sons, Kimberly and her husband have become closely connected to the rich culture, beautiful countryside, and delectable cuisine of Ethiopia.
