New Student Orientation Values

Get started. All new traditional students* are required to attend New Student Orientation on Friday, August 25 through Tuesday, August 29. We can’t wait to have you on campus and experience this incredible community for real!

Get support. We want you to feel welcomed, connected, and supported through your transition into college. All programming and events are created with this in mind for you, and we want you to feel free to ask us anything! We’re here for you.

Get connected. We’ll be hosting many different opportunities for you to meet and connect with other students, staff, and faculty before classes officially begin, and we highly encourage you to engage with all this entails during that time! You’ll also hear about ways to get involved all throughout the entire year.

*New Dual Enrollment On-Campus living in residences are also required – otherwise new Dual Enrollment On-Campus commuters only attend DE Orientation on Monday, August 21.

Before You Arrive

Make sure you complete your New Student Checklist. Most steps can be completed through your Admitted Student Portal. If you have questions about any of these steps, let your admission counselor know!
