In 2005, Northwestern student Jennifer McLoughlin was tragically killed in a car accident. To honor her memory, University of Northwestern, in cooperation with Jennifer’s parents, has established the Jennifer McLoughlin Benevolence Fund, or Jennifer M. Fund.

This fund is available for students who experience unexpected emergencies or family situations which they are not financially able to handle. The service which the fund provides reflects the generous heart of its honoree.

Jennifer’s parents expressed their memory of their daughter saying, “Jenny wanted to spend her life helping others and telling them about her Lord. That is why we so appreciate having the benevolence fund named after her. We would like to give you this gift as our way of helping needy students through her.”

Your choice to give to this fund will both honor the memory of Jennifer’s life, and bless the lives of students who are facing unexpected financial challenges and life circumstances.
